Drawing on her 25 years' experience in accounting and finance, Shannon Rapp offers start-up operations a complete yet highly customizable range of interim CFO/ controller services. These services have been specifically designed to help incubate companies from birth through to the permanent CFO or controller stage (normally when 40-50 employees are on board).

After graduating from UC Santa Barbara in Business Economics, Shannon worked first as an accountant, then controller. During this time, she gained exposure to a number of different industries, including real estate, banking, construction, internet and design. Subsequently, she joined Elan International, an IT recruiting firm, as Chief Financial Officer.

In 1998, Shannon established her own company- Rapp It Up Solutions. Her first client was another IT recruiting firm called Tech Partners. Through that assignment, she acquired hands-on experience in helping start-ups to set up their office infrastructure and prepare their books for audits and tax. Since that time, Shannon's client list had included a number of overseas companies who have enlisted the services of Rapp It Up Solutions to help open their offices and set up operations in the US.

As an interim CFO/Controller, Shannon offers start-up companies much needed flexibility and expertise. Moreover, her proven experience and skills in developing the infrastructure and financial procedures necessary to ensure the smooth operation of fledging companies leave her clients to concentrate on growing their business.
